About Us

All ultrasound scans are undertaken by registered and qualified Diagnostic Radiographer Sonographers with many years of experience working within both the NHS and Private Sector.

Ultrasound Scan Clinic was created in 2023 by Gerard McCrossan. Gerard might be recognised locally from working in Altnagelvin Area Hospital (AAH) for many years where he demonstrated his immense passion for patient care and service quality.

At Ultrasound Scan Clinic Ltd we use a sophisticated and reputable image transfer system called Tricefy. After every ultrasound examination the client will receive all images and video clips (if applicable) which are captured during the scan along with a report. This will be sent (encrypted and secure) direct to the clients mobile for instant access.

    Gerard offers our Pregnancy, Fertility and General Health Scans.

  • Eoin Millar

    BSc Hons Diagnostic Radiography, MSc Medical Ultrasound and PgC Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound

    Eoin offers our Muscle and Joint Scans also known as Musculoskeletal (MSK) scans.

Self Referral

We are a self-referral service, meaning you can book our services directly without requiring a medical referral enabling you to access a stream lined service with reduced waiting times. You will be provided with a report for your scan which you can present to your appropriate Health Care Provider if necessary.

Longer Appointment Duration

We offer longer appointment slots (when compared to the NHS) to allow you more time to discuss any concerns or queries you might have.

We offer a relaxed, comfortable and most importantly a private environment for your examination.
